Location: Hybrid working arrangement with an office based in Livingston. Will be required to attend the Livingston Head Office for specific business activity and must be prepared to travel for events.

Employment Type: Permanent

Salary Scale: £38,422 - £43,934

Hours: 35 hours per week. Happy to talk flexible working.

Morgan Hunt is excited to be working in partnership with ILF Scotland to appoint a Senior PR and Marketing Officer to join its Communications Team.

About the role

As a Senior PR and Marketing Officer, you will work closely with the Communications Manager and Communications Lead to deliver ILF Scotland's communications and engagement strategies with a particular focus on PR and marketing. You will play a key role in implementing work plans that effectively reach and engage a wide range of stakeholders, ensuring that the organisation's messaging is clear, inclusive, and aligned with its' values.

You will be responsible for supporting integrated communications campaigns across both PR and marketing channels, creating high-quality content that is accessible to all, in collaboration with internal and external partners. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the organisation's mission, enhance its reputation, and ensure that ILF Scotland's impact is visible and understood by the disabled people it serves.

What we are looking for

You will bring creativity, excellent communication skills, and an eye for detail, ensuring every piece of content and campaign reflects ILF Scotland's high, inclusive standards. Confident working independently, you'll know when to consult with the Communications Manager or Communications Lead and when to collaborate with the wider staff team and other key stakeholders to achieve the best results.

We are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate:

  • 3 to 5 years of recent experience across both PR, communications and marketing
  • proven ability to create and edit high quality content for media, social media channels, websites and corporate publications
  • recent experience of managing media relationships and handling enquiries
  • excellent digital skills, including WordPress, social media platforms, Mailchimp, and Google Analytics
  • experience delivering marketing campaigns, newsletters, and publications that meet branding and accessibility standards
  • ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
