About the role
We are looking for a Council Tax Billing and Support Officer to work in our busy Revenues and Benefits team, on a fixed-term contract, administering accounts and dealing with enquiries from residents and businesses.

You'll be a highly motivated individual who:

has excellent customer service skills to answer and deal with face to face enquiries from customers as well as responding to telephone and written enquiries

be a committed team player who can work on their own initiative to complete tasks and achieve targets

ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines

experience of dealing with customer accounts.

An offer of employment is conditional upon having the right to work in the UK. HDC does not hold a Sponsorship Licence and is unable to provide a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) or take over sponsorship for any role.
