Job overview:
The ideal candidate will support both online and offline public relations activities, driving the creation, optimisation, and distribution of content across multiple platforms in the UK and China. The role focuses on enhancing the visibility of the company’s products and services while strengthening engagement with key audiences.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute communication plans that support business objectives and effectively promote the company’s offerings and client engagement initiatives;
- Research, write, and publish press releases, newsletters, and digital content for platforms including WeChat, Rednote, and other media channels;
- Coordinate and contribute to the creation of marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, email campaigns, videos, photography, and other multimedia content;
- Represent the company in meetings, presentations, interviews, and public events to build brand recognition and foster strong client relationships;
- Plan, organise, and manage events, including roadshows, workshops, and press conferences across both China and the UK;
- Maintain and strengthen the company’s online presence through regular website updates, social media management, and strategic audience engagement.
Abilities/Skills/Knowledge
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word;
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and writing skills suitable for PR and media relation;
- Self-driven, adaptable, and enthusiastic about learning in a fast-paced setting;
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to oversee multiple tasks at once;
- Experience with short-form video creation and editing for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Rednote, including basic proficiency in editing tools;
- Creative and innovative, with a strong sense of initiative in developing PR strategies and campaigns;
- Excellent teamwork, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills;
- Solid understanding of business operations and awareness of current market and media trends;
- Proficiency in mandarin is considered an advantage.
