Summary
Key Responsibilities
Act as the nominated CQC Registered Manager, accepting personal legal responsibility for the regulated activity and leading the service through registration and ongoing inspections.
Oversee clinical governance, medicines management, safeguarding, and serious incident reporting.
Ensure full vehicle and equipment compliance (LOLER, medical gases, defibrillators, etc.).
Essential Qualifications & Experience.
Current or recent CQC Registered Manager status for an ambulance or patient transport service (highly advantageous).
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care or equivalent senior leadership experience in a CQC-regulated ambulance service (willingness to complete Ambulance pathway within 12–18 months if required).
Clinical background (e.g., HCPC Paramedic, Nurse, or Technician) strongly preferred.
Proven track record of achieving and maintaining CQC “Good” or “Outstanding” ratings.
