About The Role
Within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, the Innovation Lab Wales, seeks to appoint a Senior Software Developer to provide effective technical leadership on multiple and diverse projects with a broad range of both internal and external stakeholders.
The overall objective of the software development team is to deliver rapid requirement specification and software prototyping, which will serve as proof-of-concepts (or MVP’s) for further proposals and / or development.
The post-holder will be responsible for ensuring lab technical outputs are delivered to the benefit of our research and digital commercialisation plans and services by understanding both faculty and university needs and subsequently translating those needs into operational outputs; working closely alongside (and leading on technical aspects) colleagues within the faculty and wider university networks in order to do so.
