Summary

The successful candidate will: Provide high-quality care across a broad range of benign Gynaecological services. Lead and develop benign Gynaecology clinics and theatres, including complex fibroid management and advanced benign surgical cases. Participate in rapid access and specialist Gynaecology clinics, including outpatient hysteroscopy and one-stop diagnostic services. Take part in the Labour Ward rota, providing consultant-led intrapartum care (1 in 8 weekend and 1 in 16 weekday on-call pattern; Band A supplement). Support teaching, supervision, and mentorship of junior medical staff and contribute to audit, governance, and service development. Engage with ongoing research and quality improvement initiatives within the department. Our department provides a full range of specialist Gynaecology services, including: Colposcopy and combined oncology Gynae-endocrinology Vulval disease and menopause clinics Outpatient hysteroscopy and rapid access services Fertility (including IUI procedures) Urogynaecology and endometriosis Early pregnancy and emergency Gynaecology We are proud of our strong multidisciplinary ethos, modern facilities, and close integration with community-based womens services.
