Summary
CNC Router & Laser Operator
Location: Ashford
We are looking for an experienced CNC Router & Fibre Laser Operator to join a growing production team within a specialist manufacturing environment. The role focuses on producing accurate, high-quality products using a range of CNC machinery.
What you'll do:
- Set up and operate a 3-axis CNC router, fibre laser and other laser/waterjet equipment
- Work with materials such as aluminium, steel, acrylic, foam PVC and composites
- Use software including V Carve, CYP Cut, Smart Carve 5 and SignLAB
- Read technical drawings, prepare materials and ensure components are finished to a high standard
- Carry out basic machine maintenance and help maintain a clean and safe workspace
What we need:
- Experience using CNC routers and fibre lasers
- Ability to read and follow production drawings
- Good practical and problem-solving skills, with a strong eye for detail
- Someone proactive, safety-aware and able to work both independently and within a team
