Summary
Information Security Manager
Are you an experienced Information & Cyber Security professional with great leaderships capability, and would love to use your skills to really make a difference and help change people's lives?
We're currently looking for a knowledgeable Information Security Manager to join our brilliant IT team here at Platform Housing Group, the largest social housing association in the Midlands, where we're much more than just houses; we build homes, strong communities, and make a real and positive difference to the lives of our customers.
Working with us is more than just a job, you will be joining an amazing organisation that values you and your contribution, and as our Information Security Manager, you will lead the operational delivery, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the Group's information security and data protection capabilities.
You will be accountable for protecting systems and data against evolving cyber threats, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards and embedding security and privacy by design across technology and business operations.
What are we looking for?
-Proven experience designing and implementing information security frameworks in a complex organisation.
-Track record maintaining ISO 27001 and GDPR compliance.
-Deep understanding of security operations, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
-Strong knowledge of security monitoring tools, SIEM platforms and incident management processes.
-Experience developing and delivering security training and awareness programmes.
-Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
-Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills
-High personal integrity and commitment to upholding InfoSec, data protection and compliance standards
While this role offers the flexibility of being home-based, occasional travel to Group offices and other locations, including Birmingham Business Park Solihull and Central Park, Worcester, is required.
