Job Title: Support worker/Personal Assistant
Hours per week:
- 5.5: hours per weekend covering Friday Saturday and Sunday, morning and evening calls. likely to be 1 hour Friday – Sunday mornings. 1 hours Friday and Saturday evening. 30 minutes Sunday evening.
Days are set but flexibility with time, some annual leave cover required between PAs,

About me:
I am a woman under the age of 50, who has suffered from a stroke which has led to mobility issues on my right side. I am a cheerful lively person who enjoys company and seeing people. I am looking for a friendly, reliable, kind PA/Support worker to assist and support within my household, remind me to take my meds, ( training given if not already held) help with meal prep and some light housework. I have a dog who is very friendly and loves fuss, so it helps if you like dogs.
While experience of a similar role is welcome it is not essential, a caring attitude is most important.

Will not use their personal mobile phone at work unless in an emergency.

Is patient and supportive with good listening skills and an ability to provide non-judgmental emotional support.
Maintains confidentiality and respects the privacy of the family, including the prohibited use of social media in relation to the job role.
Can work flexibly, adapting to the variable requirements of this role as required.
Task and duties, to include any or all the following:
To support me in the morning with getting dressed for the day and then getting dressed for bed.
I wear a medical boot to aid my mobility – I require assistance with tying this.
In the morning, I require support with emptying my commode.
Some meal preparations will be required.
To support me with household chores.
Reminding me to take my medication, training will be provided for this if not already held by applicant.
Any other duties not mentioned but that fall within the scope of this role should be discussed and then mutually agreed.
Undertake any further training, as mutually agreed.
The role is dependent upon a DBS and 2 references.
