By working collaboratively across health, social care, and voluntary sectors, were shaping the future of primary caremaking it more accessible, efficient, and compassionate. As part of our growing multidisciplinary team, youll work alongside Clinical Pharmacists, Advanced Practitioners, Mental Health Practitioners, First Contact Physiotherapists and Social Prescribing Link Workers. Were looking for an enthusiastic and motivated GP Assistant to play a key role in our Same Day Access Service (SDAS), which provides urgent care to our patient population. Youll help keep clinics running smoothly, support clinicians, and make a real difference to patient experience. What youll do: Assist with day-to-day operations of SDAS, including patient queries and scheduling. Perform routine clinical tasks (e.g., blood pressure checks, phlebotomy, urine dipsticks). Coordinate referrals, tests, and follow-up appointments. Support immunisation campaigns and multidisciplinary team meetings. Help manage patient feedback and quality improvement initiatives. Excellent communication and customer care focus. Ability to work under pressure with professionalism, diplomacy and tact. Previous experience in primary care and NVQ Level 2 in Business & Administration (or equivalent). Desirable: GP Assistant Certificate.
