Our client is a long-established and growing business operating from their purpose-built site at Membury, just off the M4. Providing first-class workshop facilities for car, van, and light commercial servicing and repair, alongside industry-leading roadside breakdown and recovery operations across Wiltshire, Berkshire, and Oxfordshire.

With continued business growth and demand for high-quality maintenance services, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Light Vehicle Technician to join our workshop team.
Role overview:
You’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing customer vehicles and in-house light recovery fleet. This includes diagnostic work, general mechanical repairs, and MOT preparation.
The role is varied and rewarding, with steady daytime hours and an excellent working environment.
Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 (no weekend rota)
Key Responsibilities
• Carry out routine servicing, inspections, and repairs on cars, vans, and light commercials.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults.
• Complete job cards, service sheets, and repair notes accurately.
• Maintain workshop cleanliness and safe working practices.
• Liaise with service advisors and customers where needed.
Requirements:
• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or strong experience in a similar role.
• Confident diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work independently
