Summary
Daytime:
To always be proactive i.e. meetings and greeting residents and visitors in a genial manner.
Always approach Visitors/guests to ascertain their reason for being on site and direct them to their appropriate destination if bona fido.
Assist Residents and guests with shopping and luggage also call the lift as and when necessary.
Refuge bins to be left out for collection and returned to designated areas on bank holidays when the cleaner is off duty.
Log all parcels and obtain proof of collection and delivery. “All Keys” to be signed in and out when required. When the head porter is on holiday mail should be sorted and delivered daily to residents also on Saturday morning.
During Summer months dry weather, plants must be watered daily outside main entrance doors, front and side of building also.
Building procedures:
It is imperative all Concierge/Officers are familiar with lifts/fire alarm/panic alarm/ main entrance gate and garage doors to be reset when necessary.
The television is only allowed to be switched on between the hours of 23:00 and 06:00 Monday to Sunday.
When on duty “ALL” mobile phones/electronic equipment are to be locked away in the security safe provided.
A clear and detailed handover to be performed prior to starting/finishing duty.
Nighttime:
Perform and log on foot patrol of the common areas and include fire exits stairs/lower ground floor garage area, noting any faulty lights and ensuring fire doors and exits are not obstructed at any time.
Adhere to procedure detailed on “Day Duties” as to resident/guest/parcels/keys/faire alarms etc.
Friday and Saturday night collect and dispose of all rubbish.
