ELECTRICIAN
Salary: £41,023.87 - £43,075.06 annum + £150/week Call-Out
Working Hours: Permanent, Full Time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday Shifts 7am - 16.00 & 08.00 - 17.00 plus required to be on call out 1 week out of 6 weeks.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity for an enthusiastic, flexible, and precision-driven problem-solver. You will be instrumental in creating a clean, safe, and secure environment, enabling the core function of the hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
Critical Maintenance: Deliver crucial Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and rapid reactive repairs across a wide array of electrical systems and associated M&E equipment.
Expert Fault Diagnosis: Efficiently diagnose and rectify complex faults on all electrical support systems to ensure minimal disruption to patient care and ongoing hospital operations.
Compliance & Testing: Execute all installations, inspections, and testing to the highest standards, strictly adhering to BS7671 (18th Edition), current regulations, and stringent hospital safety protocols.
System Utilisation: Effectively utilise Computerised Facilities Management (FM) and Building Management Systems (BMS) for control, accurate fault diagnosis, and meticulous record-keeping.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively within the maintenance team, contributing to the development of maintenance routines, assisting with multi-trade tasks, and participating in the rostered on-call system and overtime as required.
Essential:
Detailed knowledge of installed building engineering services..
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or C&G 2360 equivalent, meeting JIB Gold Card criteria)
Current BS7671 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
Appointment as a LVCP (Low Voltage Competent Person)
Deep understanding of Electrical Isolation and Safety procedures.
An enthusiastic, flexible, and proactive approach.
Excellent teamwork ability and collaborative spirit
Strong communication and record-keeping skills.
