Summary

Job Description

The Graphic and Multimedia Designer is responsible for creating high-quality visual and interactive content across digital, print, and multimedia platforms. This role involves combining creative design principles with technical skills in animation, layout, and visual communication to support branding, marketing, product development, and user engagement. The position requires specialist design knowledge at RQF Level 6+ and advanced competency with modern multimedia tools.

Roles & Responsibilities

Create layouts, graphics, illustrations, logos, infographics, and promotional materials for print and digital media.
Develop and maintain brand identity guidelines across all visual outputs.
Produce marketing assets for websites, social media, advertising, and campaigns.
Design and produce 2D/3D animations, motion graphics, video assets, and interactive content.
Storyboard and visualise animations for explainer videos, product demos, and digital campaigns.
Use software such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Blender, Maya, and Cinema4D.
Create UI/UX visual assets including icons, illustrations, page layouts, and interactive components.
Optimise designs for responsive web, mobile, and cross-platform display.
Produce web-ready multimedia formats (SVG, Lottie, GIF, web animations).
Edit raw footage, apply transitions, colour correct, sync audio, and integrate motion graphics.
Prepare final outputs for marketing, internal communication, and social platforms.
Interpret briefs, research design trends, and translate ideas into creative concepts.
Prepare mood boards, sketches, wireframes, and prototypes to communicate design direction.
Present concepts to stakeholders and iterate based on feedback.
Work closely with marketing, product, and engineering teams to deliver cohesive digital assets.
Manage multiple projects and ensure deliverables meet quality, brand, and technical standards.
Maintain structured asset libraries, naming conventions, and file documentation.
Expert use of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Animate, After Effects).
Working knowledge of Figma, XD, Sketch, and digital prototyping tools.
Optional skills: HTML/CSS basics for design handoff, AI-assisted design tools (Midjourney, Firefly).
