You'll become a professionally registered practitioner who'll provide a lifeline to our most vulnerable residents within East Renfrewshire. The roles are demanding but hugely rewarding, supporting adults and older people facing a range of challenges (including dementia, physical disability and ill health) with daily living activities, to enable them to live safely within their own home.

Our trained staff deliver a vital service, which enhances the quality of service users' lives, including administering medication, supporting with personal care tasks, using specialist equipment and keeping clear and accurate records of care delivery.

No previous experience or qualifications are necessary. All training will be provided by our in-house training team to give you the skills and confidence to enable you to succeed.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. It is an offence therefore to apply if you are barred from working with protected adults. In addition to this, if you have lived or worked in any country outside the UK in the past 10 years, there may be a requirement for an overseas police check.

This post requires Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) registration. You must currently have registration or eligibility to apply from commencement of employment (you must apply to register within the first 3 months of employment to ensure registration is complete within 6 months of starting in your role).
