Actual salary £18,406 - £18,697 per annum
Required as soon as possible, the Local Governing Committee of St Mary’s Catholic Primary school are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Support Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team.
The role will involve working with pupils in one-to-one and small group situations as well as supporting class teachers with classroom administration and organisation. You should be able to work effectively as part of a team, following the direction of teachers as well as working under your own initiative when necessary.
We are seeking someone who:
• Is either a practising Catholic or someone who is supportive of our Catholic ethos
• Holds a recognised Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or willing to work towards the qualification
• Has excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
• Is able to work under their own initiative as well as within the team
• Can be flexible in their approach to work
• Is able to demonstrate good relationships with children, parents, staff and Governors
