About the role

We are on the lookout for a Transformation Consultant to join our Transcend team here at Tesco. At Transcend Retail Solutions, we help retailers around the world grow their online grocery businesses using the same solutions that powers Tesco’s £8bn e-commerce platform. We’re part of the Tesco family but work like a startup — fast-moving, collaborative, and driven by impact. Joining our consulting team you will sell, consult and deliver market leading fulfilment solutions to grocers seeking to accelerate our customers e-commerce journey. With an in-depth knowledge of online fulfilment and propositions, you will help clients solve problems and create maximum value from their online operations.

You will be responsible for

Solutions Delivery

  • Complete operational health assessments to understand client needs.
  • Deep dive problems issues to form hypothesis and solutions.
  • Prepare business proposals and presentations.
  • Provide consulting support and/or deliverables to clients.
  • Spend time in country leading client teams through process improvement and transformation, coaching best practice for fulfilment operations.
  • Manage projects and change initiatives.
  • Ensure that proposed benefits are tracked/realised.
  • Manage financial performance of all project deliveries.

Client Management

  • Maintain strong relationship with client throughout engagement keeping them informed of progress.
  • Ensure high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Develop strong relationships with key client managers throughout client engagement cycle, supporting both existing work and identification of future opportunities for growth.

You will need

  • Experience optimising services and solutions related to operational efficiency, manual/advanced pick software, MFC in the ecommerce grocery sector.
  • Understand the E2E fulfilment journey across receive, stow, pick, pack & deliver and importance of balancing storage, throughput & people across the operation.
  • A deep knowledge of solutions in the market, their strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities.
  • Consultative selling, relationship building and negotiation skills and / or experience in leading and improving fulfilment operations.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with experience in writing significant reports and deliverables.
  • Ability to travel globally as required.
  • Work collaboratively in a small cross functional team but also to work independently across geographies and timezone.
