Summary
This is a 9 month maternity cover post working 14 hours per week.
Swansea University currently offers 9 full-time degree programmes in Healthcare Science, with 3 new part-time programmes added for 2024. Healthcare Science sits within the School of Health and Social Care. Nearly all of the commissioned programmes from Welsh Government sit within this School. Healthcare Science is joined by Nursing, Midwifery and Paramedic Science in the School. This creates a culture of professional training and interdisciplinary education. The successful candidate will join the Healthcare Science academic unit. The Lecturer in Respiratory Physiology will be responsible for delivering the core teaching in Respiratory Physiology & Sleep Science on the programme (and other relevant health-related programmes). The successful candidate will have experience in working in the discipline in the NHS. Applications from those considering secondment from NHS roles or job shares would be welcomed.
