About the QHSE Manager Position
As QHSE Manager, you’ll lead Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental initiatives across two key manufacturing sites (Corby & Wetherby). This senior leadership role is pivotal in driving compliance, continuous improvement, and embedding a safety-first culture. You’ll be hands-on, influential, and able to engage teams at all levels, leading by example and embed best practices across both locations
Key Responsibilities:
Champion a safety-first culture across both sites, ensuring compliance and risk reduction.
Lead and develop QHSE teams, setting goals and driving performance.
Maintain and improve quality standards (BRC, ISO 9001 & 14001)
Drive process improvements for quality and customer service.
Ensure compliance with QHSE standards, update procedures, and recommend policy changes.
Conduct risk assessments and deliver training on hazard management.
Plan and perform audits and inspections, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
Manage environmental monitoring and reporting, maintaining legislative registers.
About You – Senior QHSE Manager
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in strategic and operational QHSE leadership, ideally across multi-site operations, and a commitment to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and safe workplace.
Additional Requirements:
NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
Internal Auditor: ISO 14001
Membership of IOSH or equivalent
Experience maintaining BRC / ISO 9001 and 14001 standards
Strong leadership, communication and influencing skills
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites is essential
