Summary

Healthcare Assistant Lung Cancer Screening Programme Location: West London Covering sites in W1T 1QD, CR0 4XS, HA1 2TU, KT2 5BH Salary: £23,000 + £4,200 Car Allowance Travel: Full UK Driving Licence Required Shifts: 12-hour patterns, 3 days a week (8am8pm), including weekends and bank holidays Make a real difference in early cancer detection. Join InHealths Lung Cancer Screening Programme and be part of a vital service that helps detect lung cancer earlywhen treatment is most effective. As a Healthcare Assistant (HCA), youll play a key role in delivering a professional, compassionate, and patient-focused experience across our mobile screening sites in West London. What youll do: Welcome patients and guide them through their screening journey with empathy and professionalism Support clinical colleagues in delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced, mobile environment Assist with patient handovers between screening and CT scan locations Maintain accurate patient records and ensure data confidentiality Help manage clinic flow, support scheduling, and respond to patient queries Uphold high standards of cleanliness, safety, and infection control Contribute to a 7-day service, including bank holidays, with occasional remote admin work What were looking for: Experience in a patient or customer-facing role Strong communication and interpersonal skills Confidence using Microsoft Office and patient management systems A flexible, team-oriented approach with the ability to adapt to changing priorities A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across sites What youll bring: A calm, compassionate, and professional manner A proactive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure A commitment to maintaining patient dignity, privacy, and safety An understanding of data protection and confidentiality (GDPR)
