We are seeking a dedicated Site-Based CleaningOperative to join our team atHMPPS Newbold, Rugby, CV23 OTH
In this role, you'll play a key part in maintaininghigh standards of cleanliness across the site. Your efforts will directlycontribute to the health, hygiene, and comfort of everyone on site.
ApprovedPremises play a key role in supporting individuals released from prison,offering enhanced supervision and rehabilitation within thecommunity.This role will give you insight into working in a residentialsetting with vulnerable and complex individuals, providing meaningful work thatsupports positive change.
What you’ll do:
- Focus on the details and complete a list of scheduled cleaning tasks
- Periodic deep cleaning of certain areas, instructed by supervisor
- Ensure all areas, including kitchens, toilets, communal areas are cleaned and are presentable
- Replenishing stock and consumables such as toilet tissue and hand soaps
- You'll work closely with the security team, reporting any faults or hazards..whilst also helping maintain the cleanliness of theirareas too!
- This role requires you to have an approachableattitude
What you bring:
- Previous experience in a similar role, with knowledge of cleaning solutions and their uses is desirable, but not essential- our great training will ensure you are fully trained in all areas of health and safety!
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Can work at a fast pace and adapt to change when needed
- Be a team player and take instruction
