Summary
This is a Fixed Term position until March 2027 working 17.5 hours per week.
The SeRP Linkage Team and UK Data Linkage Community is hiring a research assistant responsible for design, development, and delivery of materials related to data linkage methodologies for an open-source, publicly accessible community.
The UK Data Linkage Community is a new, national-level open-source, public community focused around data linkage methodology, practice, and policy co-chaired by the SeRP Linkage Team and representatives from the Office for National Statistics’ Data Linkage Methodology team and Data First’s Core Data Linking group. It has the goal to facilitate access to, and retention of, expert knowledge in the area of data linkage methodologies. In addition, it aims to disseminate this knowledge to wider audiences, including users of linked data and the wider public, via a variety of produced resources. This role will join the very formative stages of the community creation, developing the community infrastructure and materials, whilst bringing the wider community from across different sectors into a variety knowledge exchange and goal-setting workshops.
