Summary

We are looking for an SGO Kinship Social Worker to join a Fostering Team



This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience.



About the Team


This team focuses on assessing and preparing special guardians, ensuring the child's safety and well-being and providing ongoing guidance to help families navigate both the emotional and legal aspects of kinship care. The social workers in his team support the children who are being raised by relatives or close family members on special guardianship order. They work collaboratively with children, carers and other professionals to strengthen the family relationships and ensure the child's needs are met.



About you


A degree within social work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of 3 years' experience is essential in order to be considered for this role. Kinship fostering experience is required for the role. A valid UK driving license and vehicle is also essential to be considered.
