Summary
It couldn’t be a more exciting time to join Playfit as the Manager at our Preschool located in Enderby.
We’re an established childcare provider which is part of a network of 3 other provisions including Wigston, Leicester, and Loughborough. Through our collaboration we are able to provide unique opportunities for our children, our staff and the communities we serve.
Purpose
You will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery at one of our Ofsted registered Preschool sites that incorporate core play and development, whilst adhering to the policies and procedures, insuring compliance with the Childrens Act and health and safety legislation, all within the EYFS requirements and guidelines laid down by Ofsted. Working with children aged 2-4 years as part of a team of playworkers you will plan, implement and evaluate varied programmes of activities providing a fun and creative environment and ensuring a high standard of physical and emotional care is maintained at all times.
On site you will not only be required to ensure that Ofsted requirements are fully considered but to maintain all aspects relating to play and development, child protection, ratios and conditions of childcare at all times. This post is subject to an Enhanced DBS check. A comprehensive screening process will be undertaken on successful applicants. You will be required to complete a number of mandatory training courses applicable to this role.
