Summary

Hours: 23.5 hours per week (working pattern below)
Location: Exeter Library

Working Pattern
Week 1 (29 hrs):
Monday: 9:00am - 6:00pm (8 hrs)
Tuesday: 9:00am – 5:00pm (7 hrs)
Thursday: 9:00am – 5:00pm (7 hrs)
Friday: 9:00am – 5:00pm (7 hrs)
Week 2 (18 hrs):
Monday: 10:00am – 6:00pm (7 hrs)
Saturday: 9:00am – 5:00pm (7 hrs)
Sunday: 12:00pm – 4:00pm (4 hrs)
Total Weekly Hours: 23.5 hours per week

Exeter Library, the flagship for Libraries Unlimited, is seeking a dynamic Customer Service Assistant to join our team. We are more than just books—we are a committed community and cultural hub.

In this role, you will engage with more typical library services while also organising and participating in exciting events and activities that draw people into the library and foster community engagement. You'll play a crucial part in our programme, including the beloved Bounce and Rhyme sessions held every Tuesday and Thursday.

Comfort with computers is essential, but prior library experience is not required—we welcome applicants from all backgrounds who appreciate the value of library services.
