Summary
CLCH is in the process of transitioning to a new Service Integration and Management (SIAM) model of data and digital service delivery. Under this model, the majority of services will be delivered by several external service tower providers, with the transition planned for completion in mid-2025.
The Service Assurance Lead is a new and essential role created to ensure the Trust receives excellent value, consistent quality and a seamless experience from this new delivery approach. You will work closely with the Associate Director of IM&T and play a central role in bringing the various service towers together into a coherent, high-performing whole.
This is an opportunity to directly contribute to a digital transformation that supports safer, more efficient care. The role reflects our organisational values of Accountability, Inclusion, Compassion, and Empowerment, ensuring that technology truly supports the diverse needs of our staff, services and communities.
• Ensure the Trust receives the services it has contracted for, consistently and at the right level of quality.
• Support the integration of multiple service towers into a single, reliable, high-performing operation.
• Lead service performance monitoring across both external providers and internal teams.
• Provide oversight of overall service delivery and act as a key escalation point for service disruptions.
• Hold ownership of the CMDB and Service Catalogue.
• Lead risk management, assurance reporting, data and digital capacity management, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop a detailed understanding of commercial agreements and align service provision with the Trust’s evolving operational priorities.
• Oversee the effective delivery of core IT services, including computers, phones, printers, and meeting room equipment.
• Manage relationships with IT service partners and support escalations in partnership with business stakeholders to drive service improvements.
• Work closely with technical and commercial colleagues within the Trust, along with SIAM tower suppliers and other partners, to deliver joined-up services.
