Rikama Education are working in partnership with a highly regarded SEN school in Canterbury to recruit a dedicated and nurturing teacher to join their team on a maternity cover contract beginning November 2025.

The Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to students with SEND or SEMH needs.
Teach across a range of subjects, with specialise in Art or Maths particularly welcome.
Adapt existing lesson plans to suit individual learners and maintain a dynamic, pupil-focused classroom.
Make effective use of both classroom and outdoor learning spaces to enhance engagement and development.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
Proven experience teaching students with special educational needs.
A solid understanding of KS3 and KS4 curricula.
A creative, nurturing, and adaptable teaching approach.
A genuine passion for inclusive education and supporting young people.
The ability to commute to Canterbury or the surrounding area.
