Summary

Job title - Planner

Duration - 12 month rolling contract

Start date - ASAP (subject to being medically and security cleared)

Shift patterns - 38hrs per week mon-fri

Pay rate - £30 - £33 per hour (PAYE) DOE

SIOP Master Scheduler

The SIOP Master Scheduler leads the development of the local Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process to align demand, supply and inventory planning across the organisation. This role is the central point of coordination between Production Planning, Business & Product Delivery (B&PD), Operations, Finance and Supply Chain/ Transport to ensure optimised planning and decision-making that supports long term Customer demand and business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the local monthly SIOP process (supply review and demand/ financial reconciliation) and provide reporting to the global SIOP Team.

  • Participate in monthly local and global demand reviews.

  • Develop and maintain a master production schedule aligned with demand and business objectives.

  • Coordinate with Operations and other relevant departments to align capacity, production schedules, material requirements and inventory targets.

  • Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities within the supply and demand plan, recommend mitigation strategies and lead cross-functional meetings to drive alignment, accountability and timely resolution.

  • Conduct scenario planning to assess the impact of demand changes, supply disruptions or capacity constraints.

  • Generate the supply plan for the annual 5-Year Business Plan, aligning long-term capacity with strategic demand forecasts.

  • Maintain accurate master data and planning parameters within the planning systems in close collaboration with the Production Planning Team.

  • Continuously improve and evolve the local SIOP process supporting the ongoing global SIOP process maturity improvements.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, SIOP leadership roles or similar roles in a manufacturing environment.

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

  • Familiarity with SAP and SIMIO is a plus.

  • Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
