About the Role
As a Decontamination Services Supervisor, you will:
• Supervise Assistant Technical Officers on a day-to-day basis, ensuring timely and high-quality provision of specialised decontamination services.
• Oversee the reprocessing of reusable medical devices and mattresses, including cleaning, disinfection, assembly, sterilisation, and tracking.
• Liaise with user departments and staff to meet patient and service requirements.
• Maintain compliance with departmental Standard Operating Procedures and the Quality Management System.
• Plan and organise daily workloads, staff rotas, and on-call schedules.
• Monitor equipment performance, arrange repairs, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Support staff training, development, and performance reviews in collaboration with the Team Leader and Manager.
