We are looking for a positive, proactive, and dedicated Caretaker to become a valued part of our school community. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and wants to make a difference in the daily lives of pupils and staff.
St. Andrew’s School is a unique setting, spread across four beautiful Victorian buildings. We make the most of our distinctive layout and are proud to maintain our site through a regular and proactive maintenance programme.

We are looking for someone who will:
Be positive, adaptable and have the ability to work well within a small team.
Be willing to be part of a supportive school community.
Be happy to drive the school minibus to support school events and trips as needed and hold, or be willing to undertake training for, a D1 category licence.
Have a proactive approach to repairs and maintenance with a keen eye for detail
Understand the importance of undertaking regular routine maintenance checks, such as fire extinguishers, equipment checks and alarm monitoring.
Be able to contribute to projects and maintenance schedules and supervise contractors on-site.
Be aware of the importance of safeguarding within a school setting.
Be willing to attend site, outside core hours due to unforeseen circumstances or in the event of an emergency.
