The Role

In this role, you'll take full ownership of water sector projects—from the first client call to final sign-off. It’s your chance to step into a high-responsibility role with variety, challenge, and support built in. This is a full-time position (40 hours/week) with hybrid working to help you manage your time effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and scope projects – Build your leadership profile by setting the direction from day one
Create estimates and schedules – Boost your commercial skills and control the pace of delivery
Lead change and negotiate confidently – Raise your professional credibility with clients
Manage risk and ensure site safety – Be the go-to expert who keeps things running safely and smoothly
Oversee project finances – Strengthen your strategic thinking and gain real budget responsibility
Build and maintain relationships – Grow your influence with clients, suppliers and partners
Mentor engineers – Sharpen your coaching skills and become a key figure in the team’s development

• You’ve delivered water industry projects for 5+ years
• You take ownership and solve problems quickly and confidently
• You’re organised, calm under pressure, and manage multiple tasks with ease
• You communicate clearly with clients, teams and suppliers
• You’re confident with IT and hold a full UK driving licence
