Are you a caring and motivated team-player who loves creating great mealtime experiences and keeping environments running smoothly? Join Focus Birmingham as a Catering Assistant, where you’ll help us ‘make lives better’ for people with Visual Impairments and Complex Needs.
In this rewarding role, you’ll support our catering team in preparing and serving high-quality meals that brighten the day for the people we support. You’ll help set up serving stations, assist with food preparation, serve meals with a friendly face, and keep our kitchen areas clean, safe, and well organised.
Alongside your catering duties, you’ll also provide support to our Housekeeping Team during busy periods or staff absences, helping to keep our facilities welcoming, safe, and running efficiently. Full training will be provided, and additional housekeeping hours are paid at £12.21 per hour.
