Ensure statutory decisions withstand political, media, and legal scrutiny.

Deliver a professional Review and Appeal service on behalf of the Housing Service.

Work collaboratively with Homeless Services teams to meet prescribed time limits.

Instruct legal services on Housing Act appeals and represent the Council in Court when required.

Manage and control the use of temporary accommodation during review and appeal processes.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft statutory review decisions.

Strong organisational skills and ability to manage complex cases with multiple needs (e.g., mental health, substance misuse).

Commitment to Lambeth’s values: Equity, Ambition, Kindness, and Accountability.
