Summary

Temporary School Administrator / Admin Assistant

Location: Middleton

Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour Contract: Temporary, Immediate Start until Christmas (approx. 4-6 weeks)

We are urgently seeking a highly efficient and experienced

Temporary Administrator to provide essential support to our extremely busy administrative team within a school environment.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the school setting, applicants must already hold a valid Enhanced DBS Certificate to be considered for this role.

The Role & Responsibilities

You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to hit the ground running.

  • Cover Management: Managing and coordinating all administration related to staff cover.

  • Administrative Support: Performing essential general administrative tasks.

  • Procurement: Raising and processing requisitions accurately.

  • Front-of-House: Providing professional cover for reception duties.

Working Hours

We offer flexible working times to suit the best candidate:

  • Preferred Hours: 7:15 AM - 3:15 PM

  • Alternative Option: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Requirements
  • Essential: Must hold a valid Enhanced DBS Certificate.

  • Proven administrative experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and hit the ground running.

  • Highly Desirable: Hold a current First-Aid Training qualification.
