Summary
Complex Needs Teaching Assistant - Cheadle:
Prospero Teaching are currently seeking experienced teaching assistants to join a large SEN provision in the Cheadle area. Although experience in schools desired, any personal or professional experience supporting complex needs is what actually matters for this role.
The Role:
- Supporting pupils 1:1, providing personal care
- Building positive working relationships with class teachers to monitor progress and implement strategies
- Contributing towards an engaging and inclusive learning environment
Position Details:
- Position: Complex Needs Teaching Assistant
- Location: Cheadle (SK8)
- Type of Work: Temporary
- Full-Time only
- Minimum Rate of Pay: £95 per day, depending on experience
- Start date: 24/11/2025
- End date: Temp to Perm, Ongoing
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
- Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
- Any personal or professional experience supporting complex needs in a school or care setting
- Moving and Handling training is highly desired
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
