Project Worker / CSE Specialist / Youth Support Worker
Location: Torbay, Devon (Local travel required) Salary: £27,573 per annum Hours: 37 per week (Permanent, Full-Time)
Are you a passionate, trauma-informed practitioner ready to make a significant difference in the lives of young people impacted by Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE)?
We are seeking a dedicated Project Worker to join the Exceed Service team in Torbay, Devon. You will be directly responsible for delivering specialist support and interventions to young people (aged 10-17) and their families, working across the area to drive change and raise awareness of CSE.
Key Criteria Highlights:
- Specialist Support: Providing direct, one-to-one, trauma-informed interventions to young people affected by CSE and sexual abuse.
- Safety & Risk: Proven experience in safety planning and managing levels of harm within complex cases.
- Outreach & Awareness: Engaging with schools, colleges, and community partners to deliver awareness sessions, healthy relationships training, and the DICE Parenting Programme.
- Partnership Working: Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team and collaborate with statutory and voluntary agencies.
- Essential Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of safeguarding procedures, risk indicators, and the effects of CSE on children.
- Travel: Requirement to travel across Torbay to conduct visits and outreach.
