Summary

Qualified Early Years Practitioner role to start ASAP in SW London

Great opportunity for an Early Years Practitioner with a Level 2 or 3 qualification to start a new role at a warm and friendly nursery in Tooting with immediate start!

This is a wonderful nursery with excellent resources, including a private garden and sensory room, and located in Tooting it's easy to get to thanks to the excellent transport links and staff parking. At this nursery, you will be supporting and encouraging children to play, learn and develop at stages in their early years that apply to each individual child's needs. The aim is to help children to develop responsibly, for themselves and their actions, and to become competent, confident and independent individuals.

As an Early Years Practitioner you will be joining a team of dedicated staff and some of your duties will include:

• Assisting children with their daily routines
• Actively contributing ideas to the whole nursery team
• Planning and leading activities that stimulate children's imagination and creativity, and in line with their interests and the EYFS framework
• Working closely with the Room Leader and other members of staff to track and assess children's development
• Supporting key children
• Helping children with feeding and toileting
• Communicating effectively with parents/carers

The suitable Early Years Practitioner should have a good understanding of and good attitude towards working in EYFS, and a relevant Early Years or Childcare qualification is essential.
