Summary

Key Worker andndash; Nursery (EYFS)

33.5 hours per week

Term time only (39 weeks)

Grade 3 SCP 7-11 (andpound;13.69 - andpound;14.59 per hour)

Fixed Term contract until 31st July 2026

To commence January 2026

The Head Teacher and Governors are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Key Worker to join our inclusive and creative school. Applications are invited from Teaching Assistants or NNEB, who are prepared to make a positive contribution to the life and ethos of our school. The successful candidate will work in Nursery (EYFS) as a Key Worker with a group of nursery aged children. They will be responsible for all aspects of care for the children in their group (under the direction of the Nursery Teacher).

The successful applicant will:

andbull; Hold a relevant Level 3 Child Care or Teaching Assistant qualification

andbull; Be passionate about young children and their learning

andbull; Be an outstanding practitioner with high expectations

andbull; Be proficient in supporting the delivery of all aspects of teaching and learning

andbull; Have good understanding of the need for strategies to motivate and inspire all children to make good progress, particularly those in vulnerable groups

andbull; Be an effective communicator and be able to work collaboratively with colleagues

andbull; Be a team player who is also able to work independently

andbull;

Have experience of EYFS and understand how young children learn.
