Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking fora very specialperson to come and join our team.We have a20 placeresource provision for children with autism and speech,languageand communication needs.The majority ofour children attend mainstream in the afternoons however some of our children are in the provision full time.This is a unique role which requires someone who has the following skill set:
• Able to plan for individual needs
• Candevelopan enriching learning environment
• Has experience of teaching pupils with varying needs
• Has SEND experience
• Is able toadapt learning
• Has experience of leading and directing support staff
• Is willing to work as part of an excellent team
• Has anunderstandingofthe curriculum across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
What the school offers its staff
The Pines is a vibrant Primary school with a Nursery. We are well resourced and we have extensive outside space along with a Specialist Resource Provision. There are currently 300 children on roll.
At The Pines there has been rapid improvement in the quality of education, behaviour & attitudes and personal development. We will continue to focus on improving the outcomes for our children. This is an exciting time to join us and our amazing team.
The school is located in the Hanworth estate which is on the outskirts of Bracknell town and is within very easy access of many amenities. The 'Look Out’ environmental area, Bracknell Sports Centre and Swimming Pool, David Lloyd Health Club, the South Hill Park Theatre & Arts Centre are all well within walking distance with skating, bowling, cinemas and a leisure pool nearby.
