What the school offers its staff

An apprenticeship is a brilliant way to learn and gain a qualification (Level 3 Early Years Educator) whilst getting paid at the same time! You will be paid £7.55 an hour in your first year and after that you will be entitled to the national minimum wage for your age. All our apprentices work 37 hours a week and it will take you 15-18 months to complete your course.

4 days a week you will work with the children supported by an experienced mentor and 1 day a week you will be ‘at college’ with other Apprentices doing the same course as you at the Birth to 19 Apprenticeship Academy based at St Edmund’s. We offer brilliant face to face training, led by friendly tutors and early years experts and you will be fully supported to ensure you achieve your very best! (You even get paid for your college day!!!)
