About us
The Charging Assessment team is part of the Welfare Rights and Debt Advice Service which aims to reduce poverty and inequality, and enhance the quality of life of the people of Salford.
The Welfare Rights and Debt Advice Service provided advice and casework last year which put £11.8 million directly into the households of Salford residents.
Charging Assessors provide holistic financial assessments, seeking to maximise the income of people receiving a range of home care services whilst assessing a persons ability to contribute towards the cost of their care, through commissioned care and direct payments.
