The Role & Responsibilities: 

An opportunity has arisen for an Accounting Technician working as part of the Housing and Projects team within the Accountancy department. A varied and interesting role giving the right candidate the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience in Local Government Finance. The role will involve setting and raising tenant and leasehold service charges. The postholder will provide financial support and advice to budget managers and support the section with admin, system integrity and reconciliation work.

Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking an AAT Technician qualified to A-level (or equivalent) or individual with relevant financial and accounting experience.

Good IT skills, including Excel and Word, and the ability to learn a new financial system.

Experience of reconciling service charges would be beneficial.
