Summary

Finishing Operative (Composites)

Location: Newport, Isle of Wight

Hours: 8am - 4.30pm

Days: Monday - Friday

Duration: starts w/c 24the November, may be up until Christmas dependent upon workload

Duties:

Trimming composite parts
Finishing parts to a high polish, including spotting thin gel coat, pin holes and re-working material as needed.
‘Fitting out’ parts – drilling holes ready for installation, adding fixtures.
Assisting with Deliveries and stock movement.
Working to high quality standards, schedules and health and safety regulations.

Experience:

Must have previous finishing experience within the composite manufacturing sector and good attention to detail.
Must be able to work to technical specifications and drawings whilst competently using power and hand tools.
Must be able to work well as part of a team, to instruction, with a good understanding of health and safety.

Salary: £14.00 per hour
