Randstad C&P are working with a national HVAC provider, dedicated to offering professional design and installation services across the UK, who are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile HVAC Installation Engineer to join their team.
What's on Offer- Competitive Salary: £35,000 - £46,000 per annum (Highly depending on experience)
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
- Holiday: 25 days annual leave plus statutory holidays
- Benefits: Company High-Specified Van, Company Mobile Phone
- Financial Incentives: Overtime available.
The Role
- You will be a key field-based engineer, responsible for the installation, commissioning, and fault diagnosis of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems across Yorkshire and surrounding regions.
- Installation and commissioning of a wide variety of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems, including VRF/VRV, split systems, freezers, and chillers.
- Working on centralised controllers, control panels, refrigeration controls, and electrical circuits.
- Effectively diagnosing and identifying faults/failures, providing prompt and comprehensive solutions.
- Liaising closely with the projects department, company directors, and clients on site to manage installations and maintain excellent stakeholder relationships.
- Ensuring all work is executed safely and in a controlled manner, adhering to all internal H&S processes and client-specific site requirements.
- Participating in the company's on-call support rota.
- Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning and F-Gas / EN 378 compliant certification is essential.
- Highly experienced in the installation and commissioning of relevant systems.
- Confident ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, and possess strong electrical competence for testing control circuits.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write detailed reports.
- Flexible to assist with the call-out rota and any required out-of-hours service, and open to working on various mechanical systems as required.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
