Where will you be working?
At M Group Energy, we’re enabling the energy essential to support our lives.
We provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation.
This role will be within our Metering team. You’ll join the leading provider of metering services in the UK energy retail sector, we provide efficient and flexible services for gas, electricity and water meters.
Our meter readers install, maintain and manage meters to make sure customers are billed correctly and energy usage patterns are monitored.

What will you be doing?
As a Senior Field Manager, you’ll be a key part of our senior leadership team for the field, providing operational support across a geographical region in the South of the UK. This is a remote role with frequent travel to engage with your teams and ensure operational excellence.
You’ll lead and mentor people leaders, driving performance through a lens of safety, people, commercial, and financial governance. You’ll also oversee Resource Planners and Performance & Quality Coaches, ensuring work is scheduled effectively and our teams are equipped, trained, and operating safely to meet customer commitments.
Your role will be pivotal in fostering an inclusive culture where every team member feels valued and empowered to contribute ideas. You’ll champion safety, drive development, and ensure our leadership team is aligned with organisational objectives.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Governing safety compliance and introducing initiatives to maintain high standards
- Leading and developing your team, prioritising learning and operational excellence
- Coaching and mentoring Operations Managers and Field Managers to enhance leadership capability
- Driving people engagement and creating clear communication channels across the region
- Managing financial governance to achieve revenue and cost targets while protecting margins
- Acting as the senior lead for customer performance and compliance, attending meetings and producing improvement plans where required
- Sharing best practice and supporting other clusters to achieve consistent delivery
