Summary
We’re recruiting a Lecturer in Public Services to join our team at Loughborough College.
Loughborough College Public Services is a successful curriculum team with over 250 learners, offering a wide range of BTEC provision from Level 1 up to Level 3.
We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer to teach within our Public Services provision. A relevant degree, teaching qualification and considerable knowledge of the public services area are essential, and you must have some teaching and vocational experience preferably in further education.
Topics to be taught may include:
Principles of Managing Security threats
Government and Protective Services
Citizenship and Diversity
Fitness
Global affairs
Teamwork
Residential trips are a mandatory aspect of the Public Services programmes and staff support with these activities is required.
The successful candidate will deliver inspiring teaching and learning to ensure all students are supported to succeed through the delivery of high quality and challenging learning experiences. Progress will be monitored to ensure target grades are met and all learners achieve to the best of their ability.
We can consider this role on a full time, part time and sessional basis.
