Summary
A Personal Assistant is required for a Lady in the Ammanford area (near Pontaman) - for 4 hours
per week.
To assist with Independent Living and Accessing Social Activities in the Community.
Whilst I am restricted with my physical mobility, I am keen to maintain a normal life, for as long as
possible. It’s important for my health, independence, and well-being, to get out of my home, and spend
time in the community.
I have mobility problems, can walk short distances but not too far, without sitting, and cannot stand for
long, in queues etc, which makes it difficult to get out, without someone accompanying me.
I need Assistance with Swimming, going to Social Events, Shopping, (including trying on clothes and
shoes), Lunches, Cinema, and visiting Local Places of interest etc
To support Swimming I will require help dressing, and undressing before and after the swimming pool. I
can manage in the pool, but it would be good if the Personal Assistant wished to come into the pool, with
me.
I have a scooter in the back of my car, with a hoist, so would like to visit parks, the beach, and retail parks,
with my scooter.
I am a positive, sociable person and look forward to finding someone friendly, caring, and reliable, who
could assist me in these activities.
