About the role In palliative care no day is the same. Working on our inpatient unit provides a unique opportunity because we care for patients with such a variety of conditions and symptoms. If youd like to develop your knowledge of many different conditions and the impact this has on patients and their families a role in palliative care with Sue Ryder is for you. In addition to providing excellent care, our clinical team leaders manage a team of Registered nurses and Healthcare assistants ensuring the effective assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of high standards of holistic care for our service users. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Nurse who wants to work in a supportive environment where care of the patients comes first. Some of the duties of this role include but are not limited to: Recruitment, induction, development, supervision, appraisals of team members Rota management including the provision of out of hours services. Managing and accessing risk Auditing and monitoring quality standards Deputising in the absence of the Head of Clinical Services/Ward Manager
