Summary

Clinical Support Assist qualified staff with mental health assessments and interventions, including gathering collateral and supporting engagement Support the delivery of care plans through structured one-to-one support, health promotion, or social support interventions Undertake regular check-in calls, home visits, and community-based appointments alongside or under the direction of qualified clinicians Promote service user safety and wellbeing by helping to implement risk management plans Observe and report changes in service user presentation or risk, escalating promptly to clinical staff Operational Maintain accurate records of interactions with service users and carers on RiO, under the supervision of registered staff Attend zoning meetings, handovers, and team discussions, providing relevant updates Contribute to safe and effective care delivery by assisting with practical arrangements (e.g. booking interpreters, organising transport) Work flexibly across community, clinic, or home settings in accordance with individual care needs Communication & Engagement Build therapeutic relationships with service users and carers, showing compassion, respect, and empathy Support the team in delivering care that is sensitive to cultural, spiritual, and communication needs Provide information to service users and carers on available services, signposting where appropriate Governance & Quality Adhere to all Trust policies and procedures including safeguarding, health and safety, infection control, and information governance Participate in debriefs, supervision, and reflective practice to support learning and wellbeing Contribute to service feedback and improvement activities
