We're looking for an experienced Communicator to deliver the comprehensive communications strategy for Mitie's Technical Services contract mobilisations. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse range of stakeholders to shape a seamless integration experience for new Mitie colleagues.
You will be joining our in-house Communications Team who act as the Centre of Excellence for all Internal Communications across the Group. Reporting to the Senior Internal Communications Business Partner, you will be a dedicated partner the Technical Services Technical Support team to lead on the communications activity across all mobilisations for the division.
The Responsibilities:Strategy Delivery: You will work closely with Technical Support Team, the Contract team, People Transformation team and other stakeholders to ensure clear, consistent, and timely messaging throughout the mobilisation lifecycle. Attend workstream meetings and provide timely updates on Progress. Working with Clients, develop Communications strategies and agree Communications Governance for the mobilisation period
Internal Communications: Craft and deliver messaging to employees to foster engagement, reduce uncertainty, and support cultural integration.
Content Creation: Develop a range of communication materials and manage multiple digital and in-person channels.
Change Management Support: Collaborate with the change management teams to align messaging with organisational changes and employee experience.
Leadership Support: Provide leadership materials including digital content, town halls, Q&A sessions, video scripts, and presentations.
Monitoring & Feedback: Track communication effectiveness and adjust strategies based on feedback and engagement metrics.
What We're Looking For
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and familiarity with SharePoint is required. Experience with Canva and other creative tools is advantageous.
-Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
-Strong attention to detail and a proactive, can-do attitude
-Comfortable working in a fast-paced, change-oriented environment
-A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn and grow within the role
